The
earthquake with Intensity III-IV in epicenter has been recorded
by the Armenian NSSP seismic network in the territory of Armenia
and adjacent countries across Armenia-Georgia border 18 km to
the north-west from the village of Ashotsk.
Two regional earthquakes with Intensity III and more occurred.
The first one was recorded on June 29 45 km to the south-west
from the city of Gyanja, Azerbaijan and has the Intensity III
in the epicenter. The second event with Intensity V occurred on
July 1 8 km to the north from the city of Akhalkalaki, Georgia.
One major 6.7M Earthquake has been recorded on July 1 beyond the
region in the Mediterranean Sea 164 km to the south from the city
of Iraclion, Crete, Greece. There are no immediate reports on
victims and damage.
